His Love Is Complete In Us
When “love” is used for everything it winds up meaning nothing. People seem to have come to use this great word flippantly, with no real meaning behind it. This is what I mean when I say; that when love is used for everything it winds up meaning nothing.
1 John 4:7-12
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us. He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God loves the messy, broken, undeserving you. We cannot love others well until we understand the love of the Father for us. Sacrifice isn’t loves burden; it’s loves proof. Patience is loves way of reacting with grace. Giving of yourself is a natural expression of real love.
C.S. Lewis writes: “To love at all is to be vulnerable.” “You have not chosen one another, but I have chosen you for one another.”
Let us love the way God intended. Thank you for your love Jesus.
