Open Your Eyes

OPEN YOUR EYES

Matthew 6: 22-23

The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

When I pray to the Lord to open my eyes, I ask that I may see His glory that surrounds me but also to discern what is in front of me, beside me, and behind me. I do not want to live in darkness; I ask that the Light of the Lord shine through me so all may see His glory, His love, and His forgiveness.

So I say look into the eyes of people you encounter daily, there you will see the Spirit of Light or the spirit of darkness. Let them see the Spirit of Light in you!
