His Compassions Never Fail

Lamentations 3:23-24

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
    for his compassions never fail.

They are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.

The word I keep hearing over and over is I am WEARY. I am feeling it myself. From election drama, hurricanes, other natural disasters, and life in general… it all together can be so overwhelming. Jesus knows that. He experienced the same when He was on Earth. That is why we have a promise that His mercies are new every morning. Take heart in knowing if you feel on empty by the end of the day, there are new mercies waiting for you when you wake up! He is faithful, always present and providing for us daily.

Isaiah 33:2

O LORD, be gracious to us! We wait for You. Be our strength every morning and our salvation in times of trouble.
